Thank you for shopping with MyNewSkill. This page explains how digital downloads work and what to do if you need help accessing your pattern.

What will I receive?

You will receive a digital PDF pattern file. No finished physical product will be shipped.

Your purchase includes the instructions needed to make the item yourself. Please check the product description for the exact files, materials, skill level, and details included with each pattern.

How to download your pattern

After completing checkout, your download link may appear on the order confirmation page and/or be sent to the email address used during checkout.

Please make sure your email address is correct before completing your order.

Where to find your download email

If you do not see the email, please check:

  • Inbox
  • Spam folder
  • Promotions folder
  • Junk folder
  • The email address used at checkout

Sometimes digital download emails can take a few minutes to arrive.

How to open the file

Most MyNewSkill patterns are PDF files. You can open them with:

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Preview on Mac
  • A browser PDF viewer
  • A PDF reader app on your phone or tablet

For the best experience, we recommend downloading and opening the file on a computer or tablet.

I cannot download the file

If the download link does not work, try the following:

  • Refresh the page.
  • Try a different browser.
  • Check your internet connection.
  • Try downloading on a computer instead of a phone.
  • Disable browser extensions that may block downloads.
  • Make sure your device has enough storage space.

If the issue continues, contact us and include your order number.

I bought the pattern but entered the wrong email

Please contact us through the Contact page. Include your order number, the incorrect email address if possible, and the correct email address.

I need help with the pattern

  • A clear explanation of the issue
