Refund Policy

At MyNewSkill, we sell digital crochet and knitting patterns in PDF format. Because digital files cannot be physically returned, all digital pattern purchases are generally final once the file has been delivered or downloaded.

Please read the product title, description, images, skill level, and materials list carefully before purchasing.

Digital product notice

All products sold by MyNewSkill are digital pattern files only. No finished physical item will be shipped. By purchasing, you understand that you are buying instructions to make the item yourself, not the finished handmade product.

Refunds may be considered in these cases

We may review a refund request if:

• You accidentally purchased the same pattern more than once.
• You received the wrong digital file.
• The file is damaged or cannot be opened, and we are unable to provide a working replacement.
• There was a technical delivery issue that we cannot resolve.
• A purchase was made without your authorization.

Refunds are generally not available for

• Change of mind after purchase.
• Buying the pattern by mistake after the file has been delivered or downloaded.
• Thinking the purchase was for a finished physical item.
• Not having the required tools, yarn, skill level, software, or device to use the pattern.
• Difficulty following the pattern without first contacting us for help.
• Purchasing the same or similar pattern from another shop.

If you have trouble with a pattern, please contact us before requesting a refund. We are happy to help clarify instructions, explain sections, or provide support where possible.

How to request help or a refund review

Please contact us through the Contact page and include:

• Your full name
• Your order number
• The email address used at checkout
• The product name
• A short explanation of the issue

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase. Approval is not guaranteed and will be reviewed case by case, except where required by applicable law.
